So as well as finding out about things from books and people, you also get to apply your knowledge by doing things in a practical environment. Depending on what Diploma you choose, this could be through a performance or show, a business enterprise or by making something. Both the theory and the practical learning will be made up to date and relevant to real work through our local industry partners helping us to deliver these programmes. You’ll get a wide-ranging picture of the career options open to you so you can begin to decide what’s going to be right for you.

The engineering diploma course will help me achieve my ambition to design and create artificial intelligence. I also want to boldly go in cybernetics, where no one has gone before. The diploma will give me an early introduction to engineering and allow me to learn in an adult environment. In addition, the course will also give me the chance to make new friends, my age and older. I will be able to share my ideas with people and vice versa. To get a brilliant job and have an interesting life I need to achieve this. David
